WABetaInfo has spotted a new option in the latest Android Beta update which shows that the feature is ready to be launched globally. This dark theme was spotted along with another WhatsApp upcoming feature named “Disappearing Messages”. So both the features are found in the Android Beta version 2.19.282.
Advantages of Dark Mode for WhatsApp:
Dark mode has many advantages. No doubt, having a dark theme will put less strain on your eyes but the one for which I am excited is the battery consumption. When app the apps will offer us dark mode, the battery of our device will not be consumed like before. It will be extremely beneficial for devices having AMOLED displays. WhatsApp chooses the theme automatically keeping in view the Android system of users. The theme is still under development and is expected to launch soon on Android and iOS devices. When it launches, you might need to enable it, so here’s a small guide for you!
