Google Maps Translation Feature Bridges Communication Gap
The landmarks will carry a small speaker icon that will read that word loud when pressed. Google Maps will also offer a button to get more translations if you want to have a conversation with the local people there. In order to avail this feature, you need to have an updated version of the App. The app uses text to speech technology that automatically detects what needs to be translated. If you need to have some more translations, the Google translation app will be opened automatically if that is installed yo your device.
