All the Personal Gains
Before you decide to finally take up Construction, keep in mind that it’s a members-only artisan skill. That means you need to pay an $8 membership fee. Aside from having Access to Construction, you also gain access to other members-only skills and lots of other free content and privileges. It’s really not much, plus it gives members lots of perks, so it’s definitely worth getting. Another thing to take note of is the fact that it’s one of the most expensive skills to level up. It’s not the most, as Herblore and Prayer are actually pricier to grind. However, those two are, ironically, a lot more profitable than Construction. So if you’re willing to forego the prospect of profit for personal satisfaction, then Construction is definitely a skill for you. Thankfully, on the plus side, Construction is one of the easiest skills to level up. Plus, it’s pretty fun and relaxing, so it’s definitely worth trying out.
The Many Construction Paths
In order start Construction, you must first go to any Estate Agent in the game. They’re quite easy to find, as most major cities have one. After that, you can then begin training Construction, and the best place to grind when you’re at your lowest levels is Rimmington. For your first ever foray into grinding, you’ll need to make 14 Crude Wooden Chairs, 46 Wooden Chairs, 73 Oak Chairs, and 102 Oak armchairs. To build these, you’ll need 1 Saw, 1 Hammer, 400 Steel Nails, 166 Regular Planks, and 452 Oak Planks. At level 33, you will be making oak larders. You can either make them until you reach level 47 (costs 400-450,000 gold) or level 52 (800,000 gold). If you go with the former, you can choose between the two:
Make mounted mythical capes until you’re level 99 – takes 50 hours and requires 250-290,000 gold Make Oak Larder until you’re level 74 (costs 5 million OSRS gold) and then make Oak Dungeon Doors(costs 100 million gold)
On the other hand, if you choose the latter, you’ll be making Mahogany Tables until level 99. You’ll be needing around 92,214 mahogany planks and 190M OSRS gold. It’s definitely pricier, but it’s way faster. Interested in Smartphone Gaming: Check out the Best Open World Games for Android, also top Sniper Games and more. A Butler’s Assistance To make leveling faster, you can start hiring a butler once you reach level 40. But before you can hire one, your house needs to have two bedrooms. Also, it takes a bit of Old School RuneScape gold to rent one, but it’s definitely worth it since you’ll be able to level up faster. Like what’s been said before, Construction isn’t a skill that you can easily make money from, so you’re better off having other classes that you earn from and have it spend for your Construction grinding needs. To get the most out of what you’re spending for your butler, ask for the maximum amount of items a butler can provide. At level 40, the Regular Butler will get you 20 items per trip, and you’ll have to pay him 5,000 OSRS gold per trip. And at level 50, you can have the Demon Butler, which gets you 26 items per trip at the price of 10,000 gold. With these tips, you’re off to your own Construction grinding. Be the artisan of wood that you’ve always wanted to be. Just make sure you don’t run out of OSRS gold in the process.
