Blue Ticks is one of the most controversial features present on WhatsApp as many might think that they threaten their privacy on the platform. Even on Several occasions, I wanted to hide that I have read the message, be it from by Boss or any other family member. Due to this feature, I had to reply to them in any case. After a long time, I realized that I can turn off these blue ticks feature. Many would still be wondering how. Here are few steps to Disable Blue Tick on WhatsApp.
Go to your WhatsApp Account Settings Click on the account options Tap Privacy settings Disable Read Receipts
When you will Disable Blue Ticks on WhatsApp, you will not be able to see the blue ticks of others as well, even if they have not turned this feature off. This is the worst disadvantage of this feature. It should also be kept in mind that a user cannot disable read receipt option for group chats and play receipts for voice chats as there is no option to turn these off.
