First, you need to tap on the gear icon at the top of your Instagram profile page to get to Settings Now scroll down to the “Privacy and Security” section Tap on “Activity Status Finally, toggle off the button that says “Show Activity Status,” Now your whereabouts on Instagram will no longer be public.
When you turn off your active status, you will no longer be able to see the activity status of other Instagram accounts.
