Now Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry told the public not to look towards the government for jobs. He added that the government is also planning to disband 400 departments.
PTI Minister turns away from the Promise of Giving 10mn Jobs to Youth
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader further said, “In Pakistan or elsewhere in the world, governments are shrinking.” “It is very imperative to get people to realise that the government cannot provide jobs. If we start looking towards the government for jobs then the framework of our economy will collapse. It was the mentality of the 1970s that governments would provide jobs — now the private sector provides jobs” Well, we agree with whatever, Mr Fawad said, but the question is why they had not disclosed these figures before? Why they used “10 Mn jobs” stigma In Election manifesto? Just for getting votes? And now you have come up with new facts that the government cannot provide job to youth. The government should create such an environment in the country which produces more jobs. No one wants to work in government organization only, so the clarification on Twitter was wrong as well. It is the government’s responsibility to ensure that the citizens should not be deprived of anything be it jobs. The government needs to attract foreign companies to invest in Pakistan which will not only lead to economic growth but will also create job opportunities in the country. Cleaning your hands out of your responsibilities is not going to work. Recommended Read: PM Imran welcomes $240m foreign investment from Hong Kong-based port operator
