Low literacy rate and bad quality of education are the significant shortcomings of the institutional system in Pakistan. Our education system is determined by a number of factors. Some of them are more noticeable, such as low enrolment and high drop out rate at the primary level, various standards of education, less resources allocation for education sector, , low quality of curricula and textbooks, fast increase in population, poverty and unemployment, inadequate teachers and inappropriate introduction of duties, and our substandard evaluation system. Although the state claims for some bright steps to overcome these obstacles, there is still room for improvement.
The existing situation of education in Pakistan makes us cry out loud
Our educational system, according to Dr Annie, is just filling the student’s head with a lot of confusing facts as into a container, to be released out again in the exam room, and the empty container carried out again into the world. This is the main reason why a student who scores so well in his college examination fails so badly in the quest of life. Students have no appetite for knowledge, but only hope to get certifications and degrees to find jobs. There are many criticisms about Pakistan’s primary schools and the absence of quality education there. One of the main concerns is the deficit of proper teacher training and motivation. Teachers are destroying the whole system as not trained well. This is the time that our practices of education call for a change. We need to elaborate on plans of education so that comprehensive and corresponding development can be possible. The education system should not only produce book worms and job dogs but intelligent minds. Also Read: Best Culinary Schools in Lahore
