Android Opponent: HarmonyOS
We can’t predict anything about whether Huawei gadgets would integrate with the upcoming Android Q operating System or not. However, the extension is given until 19th August to the Chinese company. Huawei said that it will not stop receiving Android updates without regard to renewing its Android license. Furthermore, the company also announced that its handsets like P30 Pro will also get an Android Q operating system. Huawei recently revealed its latest EMUI 10 software. Surprisingly, it is also based on Android Q. Not only this, but Huawei also disclosed that its own HarmonyOS can serve as an alternative to Android. However, the company claimed that it will be applicable to smartphones in one condition only. That is when Google will permanently disable Android OS from Huawei.

Keeping upcoming IoT trends in view, HarmonyOS is designed. Huawei is trying to create an interface that could connect two Huawei devices seamlessly. For instance, connecting smartphones and TV together. Or, integrating home security cameras with a smartphone. It will establish a flawless communication. In addition to this, it will increase unity between two smart gadgets. The Chinese company, Huawei assured that HarmonyOS will also pair with IoT gadgets. A few days back, Huawei revealed its Smart TV. This smart TV is integrated with HarmonyOS. Huawei is taking innovative steps to compete with leading operating systems like Android and Apple.
